YouVisit is looking for...

We are looking to build our People Ops/Human Resources department to lead and implement human resource programs. The head of People Ops will join our senior leadership team and will work closely with the CFO to develop HR strategies including talent acquisition and development, establish reward and retention strategies, and create career progression programs.

The candidate will partner with senior management to develop HR goals, policies, and programs that align with business initiatives.

In this role, you will…

  • Drive and develop the HR function to support a fast growing business
  • Build and institutionalize HR processes and infrastructure
  • Establish department accountability, employment processing, compensation, health and benefits, employee relations and retention, AA/EEO compliance
  • Provide proactive consultation to senior leadership with respect to talent acquisition and development
  • Analyze market trends and update compensation plans and establish clear guidelines for performance measurement
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements and work closely with in-house counsel to reduce legal risks and ensure regulatory compliance
  • Drive the talent acquisition and development strategy for the company
  • Review and oversee employee policies; ensure compliance with all federal, state and local laws and regulatory guidelines
  • Develop a best-in-class training and learning environment that supports the firm’s career progression and succession planning initiatives and enhances its high performance culture
  • Establish and maintain human resource metrics and analytics
  • Oversee compensation program and engage with leadership team and CFO to tie performance to incentive compensation;

To be successful in this role you have…

  • 10+ years broad-based human resource experience in a highly sophisticated, fast-paced environment
  • Strong HR generalist experience required with knowledge across various HR functions mainly focused on recruiting but also including compensation practice, regulatory experience, employee relations and performance management
  • Demonstrated success in all HR functions and must be able to execute flawlessly with limited support staff
  • PHR/SPHR certificate required
  • Proven ability to partner across the organization and provide coaching, thought leadership and strategy execution to senior leadership team
  • Demonstrated abilities and measurable success in scaling organizations is required
  • Client service mindset with incredible attention to detail and ability to consistently manage tight deadlines
  • Strong critical thinking aptitude, constant learning,  self-motivation and discipline are a must
  • Results driven individual that demonstrates strategic thinking, innovation and flexibility in managing ambiguous situations
  • Strong relationship building and people management skills
  • Excellent project management skills
